If you have ever planned a wedding before you know it is A LOT. Not only having to decide what you want for the big day, but then planning all of the logistics. It is very overwhelming and honestly not something that I really had any knowledge on (which I’m sure I am not alone in this lol).
This is why we hired a wedding planner. I told my fiance I needed a “me” (online business manager, a.k.a. OBM) for our wedding. I needed someone who was a professional in the industry and could tell me exactly what we needed to do and when to do it.
This is what you also need in your business! Well I will prefess this by saying you should be in a certain spot in your business before you hire an OBM. I ask my potential clients to let me know what the range that they are bringing in monthly because honestly if they are not brining in $5k or more a month, they can’t afford me. This isn’t to say that they don’t need support in their business. They just may need a different kind of support (typically a virtually assistant, a.k.a. VA)
Okay, now that we got the if an OBM is a good fit for your business or not, let’s jump into how an OBM is like a wedding planner shall we!
I know I am beyond grateful that we hired a wedding planner because it helped free up some of my time, I knew an expert in the field was caring about our wedding and we were honestly saving money because of connections and resources that our planner knows about.
Having an OBM is very similar! They can help free up time in your business to so you can continue to work in your zone of genius on the things you absolutely love doing. Along with keeping everyone on track for projects and answering any questions the team may have in order to successfully complete the project. They also can help streamline systems and process in your business by revamping them and adding in automations.
